General Terms of Service

Yes.... the boring bits, but necessary to keep things proper and professional. We appreciate you taking time out to read this

PATCH TESTING 

Tinting Treatments - Brow Lamination, Brow and Lash Tint, Lash Lift 

  • All clients must be patch tested for tinting and perming / lifting lotions 

  • Testing must be done at least 48 hours before treatment which is valid for 2 months 

  • If two months passes before you have the treatment, you must repeat the patch test 

Lash Extensions 

  • Patch testing is no longer mandatory for lash extension glue 

  • Clients are invited to have a test if you wish, if you have particular sensitives or allergies to products.  

  • If you opt for a patch test this must be done at least 48 hours before your treatment 

 
 

UNSATISFACTORY TREATMENTS 

  • We do not offer any monetary refunds on treatments 

  • HOWEVER we do offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. 

  • We will re-do the treatment or have your treatment amended free of charge within seven days of original treatment. 

  • Where possible, you should send photographic evidence of the issue. 

  • Re-treats will be rebooked with the original therapist. 

  • If you wish to be re-treated by a more senior therapist, any difference in price must be paid for 

  • No swap treatments. It must be a re-treat of original treatment. 

  

Exclusions 

  • Training models - the price is reflective of the expected results - no free re-treats 

  • Clients that have been made aware before the treatment, they are not best candidate / limitations of the treatment results, yet choose to have the treatment anyway 

  • Clients that have arrived late or leave early 

  • Clients that clearly have not followed the aftercare advice 

  

APPOINTMENT PREFERENCES 

During peak times, staff absences or unforeseen circumstances UK Lash Studio reserves the right to move your chosen service to another therapist, of equal qualification or higher, without notice. 
 

LATENESS  

Please text if you are going to be late 5-10mins late. Your treatment time will be shortened to accommodate your lateness, therefore, meaning you will only get the service that can be provided with your remaining appointment time. UK Lash Studio will not extend your appointment time to accommodate your lateness. If you are 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and your booking fee will not be refunded. This is considered a NO SHOW. 

  

CHILDREN IN SALON 

We are a child free salon.  There are many dangers in the salon - sharp objects, chemicals, hot drinks etc and for this reason our insurance does not cover or accept liability for injury caused to children in the salon. 

  

  • Even the best-behaved children quickly become bored when they don't have mums full attention 

  • It disrupts other clients relaxing treatments 

  • Disruptive children prevent us doing our best work and makes our team run late 

  

UNDER 16'S 

  • We can treat under 16-year-olds as long as we have written consent / permission of a parent or guardian 

  • Under 16's can have any standard salon treatment (no advance treatments such as laser or Microdermabrasion) 

  • Exceptions are nail extensions - they must be over 14 and have written parental consent for nail extensions 

  

To validate our insurance, we must get written consent from parent / Gaudian 

  

CONDUCT  

The client understands that any comments or behaviour deemed inappropriate by UK LASH STUDIO (illicit, abusive or sexually suggestive in nature) will result in the immediate termination of the session, and a refund will not be given.  

  

MEDIA 

  • The client understands and consents that media i.e. photos, videos, audio etc. will be taken during their appointment.  

  • The client agrees that all media i.e., photos, videos, audio etc. taken during my procedure or sent to UK LASH STUDIO are the property of UK LASH STUDIO and can be used on all.  UK LASH STUDIO business-­related social media publications. 

  • Social media feedback: If you access our service you shall not post, publish, upload or distribute any messages, data, information, text, graphics, links or other material ("Postings") on any social media platforms, email or electronic mediums about The Tech which is unlawful or abusive in any way, including but not limited to any postings that are defamatory, libellous, pornographic, obscene, threatening, invasive of  

  • privacy or publicity rights, inclusive of hate speech, or would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or give rise to liability or violate any local, state, federal or international law. You will be liable for any costs associated with any economic or social lose The Tech incurs due to post, publishing or upload. 

  

VALIDITY  

  •  If any covenant or obligations of the agreement or the application thereof to any person or circumstances shall be or become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining covenants and obligations shall not be affected thereby and each covenant and obligation of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent by law 

  

ENTIRE AGREEMENT  

  • Subject to the terms of the agreement, these Standard Terms and Conditions contained within this document embody the entire understanding and agreement between the parties to this agreement as to the subject matter of these terms and Conditions. 

  • Subject to the terms of the agreement all previous negotiations, understandings, representations, warranties, memoranda or commitments in relation to, or in any way affecting, the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions are merged in and superseded by these Terms and Conditions and shall be of no force or effect whatever  

  • and no party to the agreement shall be liable to any other party to these Standard Terms and Conditions in respect of those matters. No oral explanation or information provided by any party to these Terms and Conditions to another shall affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions or constitute any collateral agreement, warranty or understanding between any of the parties to these Standard Terms and Conditions. 

  

CHANGES TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

  • This policy is subject to change at any time and only the most current copy available applies and not the one you have photographed or stored. Please check this Policy page on a regular basis for updates.
